Why Choose
IRT Woodlands
Care Centre?

Experienced Care

Experienced Care

Our staff are trained with a
minimum Certificate III in Aged Care. We have staff on-site 24/7, including a registered nurse, so help is always on hand for your peace of mind.

Our dedicated Care Manager is responsible for your comfort and to assist you and your family with any concerns. It’s why 9 out of 10 of our IRT Care Centre residents and their families recommend us to others.

Engaging Lifestyle

There’s always something interesting going on for you to get involved in. We offer a range of daily activities to suit your needs and interests. But if you’d prefer some privacy, our landscaped gardens and quiet areas are there too.

Modern Comfort

IRT Woodlands rooms are all tailored to your needs to ensure you’re living comfortably. And with two levels of accommodation available, we offer something for every budget.

Delicious food

Specialist chefs work closely with accredited aged care dieticians to create meals that cater to your needs. So your meals are both nourishing and delicious.

A real community

We believe connection with the community is vital. That’s why your family is always welcome and our weekly activities also include trips within the local area.

Because our Community stretches beyond our front door, we give one third of our profits back to programs that help our customers and the wider community.

The features include communal lounges on all levels and a range of entertainment and social engagements available to keep you connected with the community. Services Available

IRT Carer Support

IRT Carer Support is where short-term accommodation and care is made available for seniors in one of our Care Centres, allowing carers to have a well deserved break, whether it be for a holiday, medical reason or just to spend some time alone.

As with access to any care facility, Carer Support simply requires Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) approval. Carer Support is subsidised by the government for a maximum of 63 days per year.

Dementia care

IRT Woodlands Care Centre offers specialised dementia care, which tailors care, activities and living arrangements to provide you with comfort and safety. We also adjust our support to your changing needs at all times.

We offer two levels of accommodation choice at IRT Woodlands Care Centre - premium and superior.

Once your eligibility is confirmed, you will be given the choice of three payment options, consisting of either an upfront payment, a daily ongoing payment or a combination of the two. You will have 28 days from the day you enter the Care Centre to decide on which payment method best suits your financial situation.

The Care Centre also requires a daily fee payable for your care and wellbeing which is determined by the Department of Human Services.

These fees and any departure fees vary depending on a number of factors and will be explained in great detail and in writing before moving in. We also strongly recommend you and your family seek independent financial and legal advice to ensure these options are right for your current and future circumstances.

Your Payment

Entry to IRT Woodlands Care Centre requires an assessment by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). As part of this process, an asset and income test will be completed to determine the rates you will
be required to pay.
